Iron Man is how comic book adaptions should be. Variously fantastic and gritty in equaly measure. Comic and tragic at times with some superb performances. Both my son and I left the cinema wanting to go build ourselves a suit like that.

Ultimately, Iron Man is a fairly crap movie with excellent performances from Robert Downey Jr and Jeff Bridges. My expectations were not particularly high, although the trailer did get my pulse racing , I have long since learned not to trust...

Spiderman 3
Another yawn-fest. I used to think Sam Raimi was a great director but these series of movies could do with some zombies or something to add excitement.

V for Vendetta
Far better than I expected it to be. Tres agrable. Mainstream coverage mis-represented it badly. Were they confused by John Hurt?
